OurCrowd: Redesign the Home Page
In the highly competitive world of online investment, an engaging and trustworthy presence is paramount. OurCrowd, a leader in equity crowdfunding, sought to revitalize its platform, and I was tasked with breathing new life into the homepage. My mission was to transform it into a dynamic and inviting gateway that resonated with both seasoned investors and newcomers.
The previous OurCrowd homepage felt outdated, featuring a dark color scheme, an old-fashioned background, and visual clutter caused by too much text and logos. Working with the Top Funnel Product Manager, we aimed to turn the page into a more welcoming and user-friendly experience.

We introduced a refreshed design featuring a lighter, more subtle color palette and a clean white form to draw attention. Our goal was to emphasize the OurCrowd system itself. Since OurCrowd is a well-known and established company, we decided to showcase the logos of their most successful portfolio companies in a sleek, animated banner right below the hero section.
The project faced three main challenges:

Modernization: The current design required a modern update to stay relevant in a rapidly evolving digital world.

Trust and Credibility: As a platform managing large financial investments, it was essential to communicate a strong sense of security, authority, and professionalism.

User Engagement: The redesign needed to be more than just a static page; it had to actively encourage user interaction, driving key actions such as exploring investment opportunities and signing up for the platform.
A Modern Homepage for a Global Leader
My approach started with a thorough analysis of the current site and a detailed review of top competitors. This research helped me identify key areas for improvement and find opportunities to improve the user experience. I then created a new visual identity for the homepage. I adjusted the color palette and updated the typography to develop a clean, modern, and professional look that immediately conveys trustworthiness.
I led the redesign of the OurCrowd homepage, transforming it into a more engaging and trustworthy platform. My goal was to modernize the user experience with a lighter color palette, a clean layout, and a subtle aesthetic. This new design not only enhanced trust and credibility but also significantly boosted user engagement.
The success of the homepage led to a comprehensive redesign of the entire website. This effort ensured OurCrowd’s visual identity aligned with its reputation as an innovative and established leader in equity crowdfunding.
